Segnalazioni whistleblowing
Italian Legislative Decree No. 24 of 10 March 2023 implemented Directive (EU) 2019/1937 on the protection of individuals who report violations of Union law (so-called Whistleblowing Directive) into Italian law.
In order to adopt the provisions introduced by the above Legislative Decree 24/2023, a Procedure has been adopted that provides clear operational indications about the purpose, recipients, mode of transmission and management of reports concerning “violations”, and about the protective measures provided.
Who can submit reports?
People who may submit reports include, but are not limited to: employees, self-employed workers, contractors, freelancers, consultants, trainees, suppliers, shareholders or any person with administrative or control functions in group companies, such as Board members or members of Boards of Statutory Auditors.
What can be reported?
Reports, which must be as detailed as possible, must relate to violations that fall within the scope of Article 2 of Italian Legislative Decree 24/2023, which defines "violations" as all those forms of conduct, acts or omissions that are likely to harm the public interest or the integrity of the Company, of which whistleblowers have become aware during their work for Cotonella S.p.A.
Reports that do not fall within the objective scope of said legislation will not be taken into consideration.
